“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
- Viktor Frankl
Judith Helen, RP (Qualifying)
Hi, I’m Judith - a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) offering accessible, compassionate therapy to individuals aged 16 and up. I provide a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported as you explore what matters most to you.
My approach is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in humanistic and existential values. I also draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to support emotional insight and meaningful change.
Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck or uncertain, and together, we work to understand the roots of these feelings, develop coping strategies, and reconnect with a sense of agency and authenticity.
I work with a range of concerns, including anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, stress, grief, relationship dynamics, boundary setting, and life transitions. Whatever you’re navigating, you're welcome to bring your full self into the room.
When I’m not in session, I’m usually spending time with my partner and 3 kids, and our spirited fur-babies. I find grounding in nature, creativity, and somehow keep adding to a personal library I swear I’ll get through one day.
If this resonates with you, I’d be glad to connect.
Warmly,
Judith
